HOW TO CREATE A RADIO PROGRAMME?
The word "podcast" was born on February 12, 2004. The term was an occurrence of the journalist Ben Hammersley in an article published in "The Guardian" under the title "The audible revolution" and read like this:
Looking back, everything seems very obvious. MP3 players, like the Apple iPod, in many pockets, very cheap or free audio production programs, and weblogging as an established part of the Internet; all the ingredients are there for a new "boom" in amateur radio. But what to call it? Audioblogging? Podcasting? GuerrillaMedia?
TASK 1: PLAY LIST
Play list and guidelines are more or less the same.
Play list (escaleta) is a term inherited from television slang, a sector shared by many radio professionals. And when we talk about "guideline" we are not only talking about a radio program (podcast), but also about musical guidelines (list of songs that will be played in a radio formula), advertising guidelines (list and order of spots and mentions that must be broadcast in a certain space of time), among others. Programs where interviews predominate (where you don't know what the guest is going to answer), calls with listeners (uncontrollable), social gatherings, humor sections ..., if you follow the strict script, you lose naturalness, it is not good for the success of your podcast. Once we are clear about the title of our Podcast, the next step is to develop the content. For this, the following process can be followed:
