Fake news base their success on the fact that they directly target our emotions and seek quick action on our part (usually sharing the news itself to make it spread). To do this, they must bridge our rational thinking looking for our most instinctive reactions, derived from fear, disgust, the search for reward, attachment, sadness or insecurity, among other emotions and feelings.
How do our emotions work? Why do we feel a certain way? Is there a physical or chemical basis that makes us feel and react? In this challenge we will try to answer these questions to be more aware of our instinctive reactions and to be able to stop them in time.
